Paris

It was a Sunday afternoon. I was chilling, listening to some music and snapping some friends. Joking about coming to see them despite them not being in the same country as me. How funny would it be if I just turned up at their door? Ha. Haha. What a funny joke.

Then I booked my flight to Paris for the next day.

If you know me, you'll know I've grown incredibly fond of France. And many of the people who inhabit it. So perhaps it was not unusual.

But still.

Monday morning, I haphazardly packed a rucksack, grabbed some euros, and said goodbye to my family. By the afternoon, I was walking out of the Gare du Nord and wondering what was in store for me.

I had a beautiful, slightly unpredictable - yet incredibly chill time in Paris. I fell in love with some of the art whilst visiting the Centre Pompidou (so much Kandinsky to enjoy!) and kinda felt like I could have almost died whilst riding a bike through the city. Apparently my risk of death in vehicle-related injuries increases whilst in France. But it was great. Super great.

It was absolutely lovely to see some of the people I had the pleasure of meeting at camp again.

For the rest of you, I hope to see you soon.

Thanks again, France.

 À bientôt.

(Unfortunately I had broken both my camera and laptop prior to travelling and thus I have little in the way of photos to share)
