Budapest

Celebrating five years of good times was perfectly summed up in the lands of Budapest.

Although I was suffering from the remnants of an illness, we were still ready to explore and enjoy what Hungary had to offer.

We were not disappointed by the beauty of the city, although we were somewhat perplexed by the location of our hotel and just how far from everything it seemed to be. But it was still a very stunning hotel.

And when it came to it, we were definitely not saddened by our hotels apparent out-of-the-way location when it provided us ample opportunity to visit two very interesting, very Hungarian restaurants. Traditional folk music included.

We also visited the National Gallery, because wherever we go we feel the need to embrace our inner art hoe and enjoy some delightful masterpieces.

Our time in Budapest was fleeting but wonderful, and I'd hope to go back there someday. Particularly as I forgot to charge my camera.
